Lives And Loves At Cafe Dolce Vita By Richard Randall
LIVES AND LOVES AT CAFÉ DOLCE VITA
Every town has one. That coffee shop around the corner who is as much of the local color as any living being. It is a homey place that says, all who enters is welcome. We can have the worst day ever, yet when we walk through those doors, we are part of a group, an unspoken family. We may not know everyone’s name or where they’re from but each morning we will always nod hello as if to say, “how are you? It’s good to see you again.”
LIVES AND LOVES AT CAFÉ DOLCE VITA tells the stories of the regulars at a coffee shop. How their lives intertwine, blend and imagines who they might be. There’s Agnes, the older woman who perches on her stool each day and sees everything but few know her history. Paul, the owner, leaving corporate life for something new and realizing just what he needs. Even, the artist and a mysterious gift, that may or may not hold a secret of the universe. Isaac who struggles with insecurity until a woman tells him about desserts. The quiet guy in the corner, writing down the stories of life. And Lucy, well, it’s Lucy, That Bitch. There’s a blue diamond and macarons and Godzilla. Falling in love and discovering life. These are just a part of the family of characters in Café’ Dolce Vita. Come on in. Have a seat and enjoy a latte on me….
