Professional Editing Package includes a consulting session via email and up to two rounds of editing to polish your manuscript and make it ready for the submission process. Each manuscript receives two different levels of editing designed to address everything from punctuation to plot holes. Your manuscript will go through a full round of Copy and Line Editing in which your editor flags any developmental issues that require revision. Outside of spelling, punctuation, and minor issues such as fragments or passivity, your editor will not change the text in your manuscript but will annotate in your assessment for you to revise, and all edits we make are tracked for your peace of mind.
After you've incorporated your edits, and completed your revisions, you’ll upload the newest version of the manuscript for the 2nd round of Copyediting—a rigorous cleanup of all grammar, spelling, and style errors. You’ll receive a final assessment, which will point out any additional flaws or revisions needed. In this last stage, a proofreader will scour your manuscript for lingering typos and formatting inconsistencies and the finished product will be a clean and professional manuscript ready for publication.
PROFESSIONAL EDITING PACKAGE DETAILS
- After payment is submitted, you have successfully placed your order. You will need to email your project, attaching your manuscript in Microsoft Word format to pmccarthy0108@gmail.com You will receive a confirmation that your manuscript was received.
- Seeing Eye Editing Services will assign your project to the most qualified editor for your book. Within three business days, a professional editor will have your manuscript and all the information you've provided when you placed your order. They will in turn contact you to discuss your project, and any challenges you may have.
- When your edited manuscript is ready, we will send you an email to let you know we have finished. *If on a payment plan, once final payment is made we will send you another email where you will find two documents attached: (1) A memo from the editor with both general feedback and specific notes (2) The edited manuscript ready for download. Note that you must have Microsoft Word on your computer to participate in our editorial program.
