Between Day And Night by Aris Parker-Bowen
A tale of two kingdoms living on one board, unable to complete a century old game.
War is on the horizon for the legendary Black and White Kingdoms. For centuries, generations of citizens have fought for control of the valley between them and the land beyond. The Black King and Queen have decided that the cycle must break, but it's not so easy. The White Kingdom is counting on war to undo the damage from battles of the past. The Black Kingdom knows their enemy, and hopes that a White defeat will finally mean their safety. Within the turmoil, borders between the kingdoms are blurring, and many Royals are unsure of where they stand. The Black King and Queen are determined to keep their kingdom safe, and the White King cannot let that happen. The valley has lived locked in war for generations. Will they be able to abandon the fates they have known since the kingdoms were born into the valley?
