Theme Horror - April 1st Deadline
Thank you for your interest in one of the Breaking Rules Publishing Writing Competitions.
The process is all really very easy. Once you have paid your entry fee, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your submission before the competition deadline.
There will be three winners that will split 50% of the fees collected for each competition category. Breaking Rules Publishing will also add $50 to the kitty to start things off.
Winners will receive -
1st place will receive 30%
2nd place will receive 15%
3rd place will receive 5%
Each submission will cost you $10 – the link will charge you $5 and $5 for shipping. Unfortunately, this is just the way the program is set up – however – you will only be charged $10 total for each submission. The 50% portion for BRP will help to support the BRP magazines.
All short stories should be no more than 20 pages – double spaced – no footer or header and basic margins and within the specific theme. You must also place the theme of competition you’re submitting to - your name – email address – state and/or country where you live as well as the title of your piece in the top left corner of your submission.
We will announce the winners 10 days after each of the deadlines. All that submit will be told the outcome of the competition before we make the announcement. All stories will have the opportunity to be published in one of the Breaking Rules Publishing Magazines following the winner announcement. The prize money will be distributed via PayPal.
